(#198) Become More Fortunate

“The most fortunate are those who have a wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder and even ecstasy.”

– Abraham Maslow

Yesterday, we learned a simple 1-2 breath gratitude practice.  What better way to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, this most basic good of life—the breath—than with that easy practice?

P.S. So you don’t have to click around, here’s the practice again: Take a couple of breaths and think to yourself, “This is great! I have an abundance of the most valuable resource known to our species, and I don’t even have to work that hard to get it!”
