(#161) Turbulence & Contemplative Practices

When you’re flying and hit turbulence, you’re told to put on your seatbelt.

It’s reactive.

It’s similar to when turbulence hits in our lives.  We react and start eating healthy or exercising more.

But the regular use of contemplative practices like breathing and meditation are proactive.

They help you avoid turbulence altogether.  Or when you can’t, they’re like your seatbelt, keeping you fastened in so you can make it through the bumpy ride.
