What Breathing Can and Cannot Do
What breathing cannot do is cure or reverse type-1 or type-2 diabetes.
What breathing can do is improve cardiovascular and autonomic function, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve sleep. These benefits can result in improved insulin sensitivity and more stable blood sugars.
Who is The Breathing Diabetic?
Hi, I’m Nick
I have been a type-1 diabetic for over 20 years. A few years ago, I made some simple changes to my breathing and experienced considerable improvements in my blood sugars. I wanted to know why.
But I’m not a pulmonologist or respiratory physiologist. So my goal is to curate these experts to understand the science behind breathing, diabetes, and health in general.
I hope the resources on this site will help you breathe better and improve your overall health and well-being.
